What are the audience pleasures of the foreign language TV drama?

• There could be a sense of personal identity if we were to link this to "use's and gratification theory". Personal identity because the audience may link to the characters in the foreign language TV drama. As they may find a character like them in the TV drama.
• There could be a sense of escapism pleasure. As the audience may find a personal release by watching foreign language TV dramas. As this would mean them watching that they may find a sense of them to release themselves from everyday problem they may have.
