Coursework: Pre-production - Mise-en-scene
Create a Mise-en-scene blogpost planning everything that will appear in front of the camera in your two-minute film trailer.
Remember CLAMPS: Costume, Lighting, Actors (cast, placement and movement), Make-up, Props, Setting.
Costume
Meri will wear normal simple clothing that a teenager would wear such as a dress with probably some boots.
Jules is a shopaholic she is the person that keeps in trend that may be going around so something stylish matched with a pair of heels.
Sara is going to be wearing a pair of glasses in all of her scenes as she will be presenting the so called stereotype that nerds wear glasses.
Lighting
I will be using a lot of lighting in the day time and a few in the night time. I can use some reflective lighting in some of the scenes as this will show the creepiness the character may be feeling at that time. I can use some shadows being shown perhaps in the window or an alley way.
Actors
Meri- Me (Syeda)
Jules-(Julia)
Sara-(Daneeshta)
Meri is the protagonist in most of the shots they will be having a lot of scenes filmed where they are all together and some of them are going to be leading towards the murder of Sara's.
Make-up
They will have very simple makeup and very simplistic.
Props
I will require a lot of post it notes for the messages and that the girls will be finding in places wherever they go.
Setting
I will be using a lot of park scenes, outdoor shopping centres and some bedroom scenes for when the murder of Sara' happens. This will be filmed in Daneeshta's house.
