Lighting

This still image is very powerful as in that period of time a woman doing this was seen as vile or bad because the society at that time was a very patriarchal society. The lighting is a side lighting.  There is light on one side of her face not the other this could connote the idea of her being a two-faced character. The makeup suggests that she could be femme fatale.

The lighting is a top lighting as this lighting has been used to enhance her face features in this image. The way her hands come on her face and her facial expression connotes some kind of a pleasure. Her facial expression with here eyes looking up suggests there is something there which could tell the audience the genre for this movie may be a mystery.



There is under lighting and top key lighting. The lighting suggest him being some sort of a villain. the lighting also goes on to his prop which is a gun which connotes danger of some sort. His facial expression tells the audience he is very serious about something.

There is high key lighting and top key lighting. The lighting and her body language suggests she is caught doing something which she should not be doing but is happy about it.There is also a shadow that goes over the protagonist which connotes maybe a pole in front of her.

This still image has a side lighting from the blinds. This image is just very intense which also suggested by the lighting that comes from the side which does not shine on all of their faces but some.

This is a back lighting as you can see the silhouette of the characters and that is about it. This tells me the genre is a thriller of some sort because there in a group and their face is not being shown.

There is side lighting and top lighting. The facial expression for the lady seems very happy and she is looking at the love of her life. The guy on the other hand is holding gun and the lighting is shining on it suggesting he is up to something dangerous.
